Roadside assistance - we're here to help

NRMA roadside assistance has been helping NSW and ACT motorists get back on the road. Every year we answer more than 2.8 million* calls. Our extensive fleet of patrol vans are on duty 24 hours every day so that when you run into trouble, we'll be there. So whether you have locked your keys in your car, got a flat tyre, have a flat battery, run out of fuel or just simply broken down, you have all the help you need, give NRMA roadside assistance a call.

Existing Member and need NRMA roadside assistance now?

 Please have ready your:

  • Vehicle registration
  • Membership card
  • Make and model of your vehicle
  • Location of your vehicle (suburb, street and cross street).

  Use the NRMA Roadside Assist iPhone application 
 

Using the inbuilt GPS on your iPhone, the NRMA Road Assist App will let us track you down no matter where you get stranded across NSW and ACT.

Please note online roadside service requests are only for: 

  • Keys locked in car
  • Car won't start
  • Flat tyre with a roadworthy spare
  • The online service is available to current NRMA Members who have a Membership card, excluding Free2Go Members. 

Breakdown location is limited to Sydney, Canberra, Newcastle and Wollongong regions.

You need to be a Member to take advantage of NRMA roadside assistance - you'll have access to roadside assistance with affiliated motoring organisations in Australia and around the world. Take a look at our tailored Membership packages - help is just a phone call away.

Need to join NRMA on the spot?

It's possible to become a Member on the spot if you run into trouble, by paying our On-Road Join & Go fee - simply call 13 11 11 to apply.
