*Car battery replacements are available in NSW and ACT. Members receive free delivery and installation 24/7, 365 days a year. Non-members delivery and installation fee of $90 for Sydney Metro and may vary dependant on area in regional areas. Workshop fitment may be required for some makes or models, which may incur an additional charge. Frequently asked questions

I have just joined the NRMA, do I need to wait 48 hours to book my battery replacement?
No, the On-Road Join and Go fee will not apply if you book and purchase a battery within 48 hours of purchasing Roadside Assistance. In the event that a Patrol comes out to you within 48 hours and you do not purchase a battery, the On-Road Join and Go fee will apply.
Can any driver access roadside assistance in my vehicle?
Yes, we will provide roadside assistance to the nominated vehicle on your membership as long as a licensed driver is present with the nominated vehicle or at an agreed meeting place when we arrive. General roadside assistance exclusions apply.
How do I book a battery and receive the member discount?
You can book a battery replacement online or by calling 1300 726 751. Quote your membership number when booking to receive the $60* member discount.
I haven’t received my membership number, what do I do?
You should receive your membership number via email and/or SMS within a few minutes of joining roadside assistance online. During busy periods this may take a bit longer.
