The NRMA-owned Manly Fast Ferry vessels will be decked out in maroon and white to transport fans from Manly Wharf to Circular Quay and on to light rail services to Allianz Stadium. The cost of public transport is included in the price of the ticket to the game.
The Eagles Nest bar on the ferries will be open on the day for fans to enjoy a 4 Pines beer and hopefully a celebratory drink on the return trip home.
The Manly Sea Eagles are looking to make it four wins in a row after the team’s outstanding away victory against the Melbourne Storm last week.
With a sunny day forecast for Sunday, Manly Fast Ferry services are anticipating busier-than-usual patronage as thousands of Manly Sea Eagles supports make their way to Allianz Stadium.
Manly Fast Ferry Chief Operating Officer Nigel Ellsmore said the vessels would be decked out in maroon and white and get fans from Manly Wharf to Circular Quay in under 20 minutes.
“There will be a huge contingent of Manly supporters flocking to Allianz Stadium this Sunday for what is clearly the match of the round against the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs and Manly Fast Ferry is here to take the hassle out of getting to the game,” Mr Ellsmore said.
“If you have your ticket to the game, public transport is free and that includes your luxury ride on the Maly Fast Ferries to and from the game. The difference being our commuters can also enjoy a cold beverage at our Eagles Nest bars on the vessels.
“As proud partners of the Manly Sea Eagles we are thrilled to be part of the broader game-day activities for this must-win game. The team are currently playing great footy and we want to be there with fans on the way home to celebrate what we hope will be a big win.”
