Group Executive Team
Rohan Lund has been the Group Chief Executive Officer of the National Roads and Motorists’ Association (NRMA) since January 2016. He has an extensive background in digital technology and strategy innovation, bringing a wealth of experience in delivering sustainable transformation across a range of customer-focused companies.
An energetic and customer-focused leader, Rohan provides strategic and commercial expertise to the NRMA - Australia’s largest Member-owned organisation. Rohan has led the transformation of the NRMA to an electric future while concurrently developing the agenda to expand into sustainable domestic tourism. This includes the growth of the NRMA Parks and Resorts portfolio and the creation of the Expeditions business.
Before joining the NRMA, Rohan was the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Foxtel, Australia’s largest subscription business. His previous roles also include COO of Seven West Media, CEO of Yahoo!7 and Strategy Director for SingTel Optus. Rohan holds a Master of Laws.
With the acquisition of Australian Tourist Park Management (ATPM) in May 2017, Paul was appointed to the role of CEO of NRMA Holiday Parks and Resorts. Paul is responsible for the strategic, commercial and operational aspects of the Holiday Park business, which has a portfolio of 50 parks owned or managed across Australia, with 32 parks branded as NRMA Parks and Resorts. Paul is also currently a member of the Tourism Industry Advisory Council of the NSW Business Chamber and holds a Bachelor of Economics Degree from Cambridge University and a Masters of Business Administration from York University, Toronto.
Prior to joining the NRMA, Paul held a variety of senior commercial and marketing roles with tourism and travel industry organisations in Australia and internationally. Prior to joining the NRMA, Paul held the position of GM Marketing, Guest and Commercial Operations at Taronga Conservation Society Australia. He has also had senior roles with Tourism Australia and has also worked in various marketing, product and sales roles for Qantas and British Airways in Australia, Africa and the UK.
Michael Gabriel was appointed Group Chief Financial Officer in August 2016. Michael is responsible for ensuring the NRMA reaches its financial and business targets through the Group's business performance, risk, property and tax and treasury functions.
Prior to joining the NRMA, Michael was General Manager Corporate Finance at Woolworths, responsible for resource and capital prioritisation, group planning and budgeting and managing finance transformation.
Michael has held senior executive positions including the Finance Director of Diageo in Australia and NZ, and senior finance and supply chain roles at Diageo across Asia, Europe and the Americas.
Michael is a Certified Practicing Accountant (FCPA) and holds an MBA from the University of Queensland and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemistry and Physics from the Queensland University of Technology.
Emma Harrington was appointed CEO NRMA Motoring and Membership in July 2020 after holding the position of Chief Customer Officer for two years. In this role she was responsible for the customer transformation of the NRMA Group of businesses, she led the growth of the NRMA Membership and subscription business, established and chaired the NRMA Data Stewardship Committee, and led the NRMA in winning the prestigious CX Team of the Year award and CX Leader of the Year award in 2019.
In her new role as the NRMA’s first female CEO, Emma leads the iconic motoring and membership business building on the legacy from the past 100 years to create a strong and sustainable business for generations of NRMA members to come. Building on the strong foundations of roadside assistance and advocating for motorists, Emma adapts a customer-led approach to focus on growth, continually improving the customer experience and adding more value to members, and looking to the future of mobility in Australia which includes our electric vehicle business.
Emma is passionate about people, and creating a collaborative, inclusive and human-centred culture. Part of her commitment to diversity and inclusion in the workplace has seen her become the Executive Sponsor for the NRMA’s first LGBTQI employee-led network.
Before joining the NRMA, Emma held both national and overseas roles for major organisations; most recently she was the Director of Wholesale and Distribution at Foxtel, Australia’s largest subscription business. Prior to that she was Group Head of Data and Commercialisation for Seven West Media and Managing Director and Acting CEO for Yahoo7.
Emma holds a Bachelor of International Relations (BA Hons) from Kent University, England and a Masters of Arts in Political Science from York University, Toronto, Canada.
Cormac Hodgkinson was appointed Chief Technology Officer in March 2016 after guiding delivery of the NRMA's Group membership system in 2015.
Cormac is responsible for NRMA's technology infrastructure and architecture, day to day operations and project delivery across all channels including Digital, Data and core platforms. Cormac is also responsible for developing the technology and innovation roadmap to support the NRMA strategy.
Before joining the NRMA, Cormac held key strategic roles at Telecommunications Company 3 in the UK where he was responsible for implementing digital channels for self-care and the delivery of the CRM solution for the organisation. He continued his career at 3 in Australia as General Manager CRM before moving to Vodafone as General Manager Customer Care.
At Vodafone, Cormac was responsible for delivering the sales and service targets across all channels including Digital, Contact centre and Retail comprising over 4000 employees. He has a proven track record in leading teams through change including a companywide Digital transformation initiative, a Contact centre consolidation across continents and a Retail rationalisation programme.
Cormac holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Business Studies from the University of Northumbria.
Rachel Wiseman was appointed Chief Executive Officer, NRMA Expeditions in April 2021 to lead the NRMA’s ambitious expansion plans into the Australian expedition tourism market. Rachel is responsible for the operation and growth of the NRMA Group’s portfolio of experiential tourism products and services, as well as NRMA’s recent partnership with Coral Expeditions.
Rachel commenced with NRMA in November 2016 as the Group Chief Investment Officer and was responsible for the NRMA Group's commercial interests, including corporate development, investments, partnerships and growth, public policy and research, community investment, as well as the corporate legal and company secretariat functions. The role subsequently oversaw safety, brand, external comms and marketing.
Before joining the NRMA, Rachel held the role of General Manager Corporate Development at Tabcorp Holdings, during which time she was responsible for establishing Tabcorp's UK operations in London. Before this, Rachel held a number of senior roles at Fox Sports including Director Business Affairs and Commercial & Strategy Manager. Rachel started her career as an accountant in New Zealand before becoming a corporate lawyer, first in private practice and then in-house.
Rachel holds a Bachelor of Law and Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Canterbury (New Zealand), an MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management and completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
Vivian was appointed to the role of Executive General Manager, Strategy & Investments in June 2021. She is responsible for the NRMA Group's corporate strategy, corporate development, investments, sustainability, social impact, transformation, corporate legal, company secretariat, brand and corporate affairs functions.
Vivian has extensive experience in strategy consulting and investment banking in Australia, the United States, New Zealand, China and South East Asia. In her previous role with Booz & Company / PwC Strategy&, she advised a range of organisations in areas including growth strategy, portfolio strategy, operating model design, organisation and culture transformation.
Vivian has a passion for the environment, decarbonisation and social equity. She is also a Board member of the Australian Energy Foundation which works with communities to accelerate the clean energy transition. Vivian holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of New South Wales.
