EV Drive Days
NewEVDriveDays_Mobile

Supported by the NSW Government, we hosted a series of electric vehicle (EV) drive days in NSW where the community found everything you need to know about owning and driving an EV. You can read more about all the drive days events so far in electric vehicle news.

Canberra EV Drive Days is coming in November 2023

In partnership with the ACT and NSW Governments, our team is heading to Canberra this November. You’ll have the opportunity to get behind the wheel of an EV for a test drive and talk to experts about buying and charging EVs. You can also check out a range of vehicle models and find out about chargers currently available in Australia.

Our EV drive days are free to attend and open to all, so bring your friends and family along. Even if you’re not up for a test drive, there’ll be food available to purchase, Member giveaways, information stalls, and EV experts on hand to answer all your questions.

General

Supported by the NSW Government, the NRMA ran a series of electric vehicle drive days during 2022 and 2023, allowing Members, fleets and the general public to drive or ride along in an EV.

With 20 EV drive days across NSW, our free EV drive day events are intended to give people considering the switch a chance to experience different electric cars in the one location.

You’ll hear from our experts and get a chance to ask them questions to clear up some of the confusion around EVs.

We hope the drive days will help many would-be EV buyers take the next step by providing them with first-hand knowledge about purchasing, owning and charging an EV.

Our next EV drive day is in partnership with ACT and NSW Government in Canberra, November 2023.

The all-day events will cover various elements of personal EV ownership, including presentations by industry experts, test drives with an instructor and the opportunity to ask questions of vehicle manufacturers, charging equipment providers and energy companies.

There will be fleet-specific days designed to give businesses insights into the benefits of electrifying their vehicles.

The NRMA has always existed to serve both our Members, and the communities where they live, work and play. That means both Members and non-Members are a part of our story. These events are celebrations for everyone in the community to enjoy. So, if you or anyone you know is not a Member, that’s not a problem – we’d still love for you to come along.

There will be a waitlist. However, we cannot guarantee that everyone on the list will be contacted. If you are unable to attend this event or have missed out on registering for a test drive, keep an eye out for our next event.
