Members will continue to enjoy a discount when starting a charging session via the My NRMA app.
Update: In August 2025, two key changes will take effect:
Starting in April 2025, we’re introducing location-based variable pricing across DC charger locations. This adjusts the price of charging based on the local electricity price and the cost to access it, which can vary from one location to another.
The NRMA Electric Vehicle fast charging network is the largest regional network of fast chargers in Australia, with chargers across New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania, as well as remote locations in the Northern Territory.
By introducing location-based variable pricing, we can better align charging costs with local energy market conditions and reduce the impact of rising wholesale electricity costs in specific areas
Importantly, the speed of the chargers will not impact pricing; rather, it will be based on the cost of energy and the volume of utilisation at each location.
As always, members will continue to enjoy a discount when starting a charging session via the My NRMA app.
Location-specific pricing can be easily viewed on the charger screen and in the My NRMA app.
Additionally, we’re rolling out 'Tap to Pay' contactless payment terminals on specific chargers at select locations, making it easier than ever to tap, pay, charge, and go. Tap to Pay will be available on specific chargers at the following locations: Prestons, Queanbeyan, Penrith, Mudgee, Euston, Molong, Rouse Hill, and Bathurst.
Please note, currently, the member discount is not available when paying via a Tap to Pay terminal.
To continue to enjoy a member discount, always start a charging session (and pay) via the My NRMA app.
