Frequently asked questions
How much do Dreamworld tickets cost?
Dreamworld tickets vary for adults, children, pensioners and families. Purchase your discount ticket as an NRMA member to enjoy cheaper admission compared to front gate prices. You can also enjoy a variety of Dreamworld passes for even more fun across multiple days with unlimited entry to this theme park plus WhiteWater World and SkyPoint Observation Deck.
Is Dreamworld good for toddlers?

The park has great attractions for toddlers, plus a wide range of rides for older children. ABC Kid’s World is full of entertainment for the little ones and there are plenty of food and shopping options including a very sweet ice-cream parlour and candy store. The park provides strollers or little carts for hire at a cost of about $15 each, along with wheelchair hire for $4.

The Gold Coast is hot and humid for most of the year, so bring swim gear and swim nappies to cool down at one of the water features designed especially for kids. Wiggle Bay has water fountains, jet sprays and small slides, while Pipleline Plunge has similar features and slides that are suitable for children over 100cm in height. Children under 3 years are free to enter and Dreamworld's Parent Swap program allows parents to have a go on the rides while another family watches the kids.

Is Dreamworld good for adults?

As the biggest theme park in Australia, there really is something for everyone at Dreamworld. It has over 40 different rides including five rollercoasters, a place called Corroboree where you can celebrate Australian history, Tiger Island where you can learn all about fearsome wildlife and WhiteWater World where you can splash around.

If you are a thrill-seeker, we recommend the Sky Voyager, the Claw, our newest WhiteWater World slides Fully 6 and the Giant Drop (the tallest free-falling ride in the world). Just make sure to empty your pockets before and don't have a big meal until after! There are plenty of eateries with all the usual foods available: pizza, burgers, noodles, buffet and more. No food or beverages may be brought into the park. Smoking is permitted in designated areas only.

Where is Dreamworld?

How to get to Dreamworld from Sydney?
By car: The shortest drive from Sydney is about 860km. We’d recommend making the most of the journey by stopping overnight along the way at an NRMA Holiday Park. You can also plan your route using the My NRMA app to get cheap fuel and food along the way.

By plane: Gold Coast Airport is a 1 hour and 20 minute flight from Sydney’s Kingsford Smith. From there, the theme park is 40km north – you could rent a car at the airport or take three connections by public transport (under 2 hours).

Brisbane Airport is a 1 hour 30 minute flight from Sydney. From there, the theme park is a 70km drive south or two connections on public transport (about 2 hours). For timetables, or more information or to plan your journey visit TransLink or call on 13 12 30.
