Rides and precincts

Enjoy a tonne of rides and different adventures during your visit. Make your way through a life-sized reef while being splashed and sprayed by water at Castaway Bay, or if you prefer a thrill - you can jump on your very own jet ski at the Jet Rescue ride or tackle the awesome Storm Coaster. Head over to Nickelodeon Land and discover the quirky character neighbourhoods of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dora the Explorer and her buddy boots, as well as the wacky underwater world of SpongeBob SquarePants.

Shows and presentations

There is a range of entertainment throughout the day to keep the whole family entertained. Catch the Seal Guardians Presentation or check out the exciting PAW Patrol On Holiday Show at the Nickelodeon Stage. Plus, experience world-class action-packed stunts performed by some of the best athletes in the country in the all-new Thunder Lake Stunt Show.

We recommend at least a day here to experience all of the attractions, shows and presentations as well as the thrilling rides. The premier animal marine park is located just off Seaworld Drive at Main Beach in the Gold Coast, Queensland 4217. You are also within easy reach of Wet'n'Wild and Warner Bros. Movie World, approximately 30 minutes drive away, making it easy to visit multiple theme parks in one day.

By Car: The shortest drive from Sydney is about 860km. We'd recommend making the most of the journey by stopping overnight along the way at an NRMA Holiday Park. You can also plan your route using the My NRMA app to get cheap fuel and food along the way.

By plane: Gold Coast Airport is a 1 hour and 20 minute flight from Sydney's Kingsford Smith. From there, the theme park is 40km north - you could rent a car at the airport or take three connections by public transport (under 2 hours).

Brisbane Airport is a 1 hour 30 minute flight from Sydney. From there, the theme park is a 70km drive south or two connections on public transport (about 2 hours). For timetables, or more information or to plan your journey visit TransLink or call on 13 12 30.

Access the park from 9.30am to 5.00pm and the rides from 10.00am to 5.00pm. They're open every day of the year except Christmas Day (25 December). They're open on ANZAC Day (25 April) from 1.30pm to 5.00pm.
