Manage the membership of a deceased loved one

We understand that it can be a challenging time when you lose a partner, family member or friend.

As always, we're here to help, so we've put together a simple online form for you to make membership changes.

Please note: accumulated NRMA membership years can only be transferred to the member's spouse.

It is important to note that only an authorised person is able to cancel or transfer a membership, this is to keep all members' information safe. Authorised persons include:

  • Executor of the Estate, or,
  • Power of Attorney or,
  • Third Party Authority that are currently listed on the membership.

What details do I need?

  • Name and membership number of the member who has passed away
  • Date of birth and last known address of the member who has passed away
  • Your information as an authorised person
  • If you would like to cancel or transfer the membership
  • Information of the transferee. If the transferee is not you, the transferee will need to be present at the time the form is completed to agree to the terms and conditions of membership.
