Meet our Contributing Journalist

Adam Smith’s refusal to grow up kicked off his editorial career in magazines for kids and then those covering gadgets and technology. It took him to stints as an expat in Malaysia and the Philippines before he joined the Open Road team in 2014. Based in Sydney’s eastern suburbs, he periodically gets to travel and write about amazing destinations in between testing the latest car releases. His other passion is playing poker and hopes to one day afford the new toys he plays with at work but regrettably can’t keep.
