12 months NRMA Everyday Care Roadside Assistance Offer for NRMA Insurance customers in South Australia

  1. The promoter of the Offer, and the issuer of NRMA Car Insurance, is Insurance Australia Limited ABN 11 000 016 722 trading as NRMA Insurance of Tower 2, Darling Park, 201 Sussex Street, Sydney NSW 2000 (Promoter or NRMA Insurance).
  2. NRMA Everyday Care roadside assistance membership is provided by National Roads and Motorists’ Association Limited ABN 77 000 010 506 trading as NRMA (NRMA) which is separate and independent from NRMA Insurance. NRMA provides Everyday Care roadside assistance membership, the “my nrma” app and other services. Everyday Care roadside assistance for South Australia customers have different allowance and benefits to our standard Everyday Care product.   3. NRMA Insurance and NRMA are separate and independent operating entities.
  4. The Offer

  5. These terms and conditions apply to the NRMA Insurance “12 months NRMA Everyday Care Roadside Assistance South Australia” offer (Offer). Under the Offer, the twelve (12) months membership cost is $0 (RRP of $137) for annual option (price correct as at the commencement of the offer).
  6. By taking out an Eligible Policy (as defined below) online or via a dedicated 1300 number during the Offer Period, you agree to these terms and conditions.
    1. The Offer commences at [11.59 pm on 30 October 2025 and ends at 11.59pm on 30 June 2026 (Offer Period).
  7. The Offer is available to customers over the age of 18 with a South Australia risk address who, from the time of taking out the Eligible Policy), do not have a roadside assistance membership with NRMA on the vehicle that is being insured (identified by its registration number) (Eligible Customers). Eligible Customers must purchase a new NRMA Insurance Comprehensive Plus, Comprehensive, Third Party Fire & Theft or Third Party Property Damage Car Insurance Policy or to existing NRMA Insurance customers who hold Comprehensive Plus, Comprehensive, Third Party Fire & Theft or Third Party Property Damage Car Insurance policies that are in renewal or renewed during the Offer Period; (Eligible Policy) online, on the phone during the Offer Period and meet the Offer Requirements (as defined below).
  8. Exclusions

  9. Exclusions: The Offer is not available:
    1. to existing NRMA Members who hold a NRMA Roadside Membership
    2. to Eligible Customers who are under 18 years’ old at the time of purchase of the Eligible Policy;
    3. NRMA members who cancel their NRMA Roadside Membership for the insured car from the time of taking out the Eligible Policy during or just prior to the Offer Period for the purpose of taking advantage of this offer;
    4. “Join on Road” and “Join and Go” subscription packages that are entered into, renewed, added-on or upgraded at the time of breakdown or use with any other Offer; and
    5. in conjunction with any other offer from NRMA Insurance;
    6. on motorcycles or scooters; and
    7. on any other NRMA Insurance policy which is not an Eligible Policy, including:
      1. Business Insurance;
      2. Farm Insurance;
      3. Fleet Insurance;
      4. Motor Trade Insurance;
      5. Veteran, Vintage and Classic Car Insurance;
      6. Motorcycle Insurance; and
      7. Home, Building and Content Insurance.

    Offer Eligibility and Terms

  10. To receive the Offer, an Eligible Customer must meet the following requirements (Offer Requirements):
    1. During the Offer Period, purchase a new, add a new policy or renew their existing policy Eligible Policy by calling 1300 676 272, or online at www.nrma.com.au/car-insurance
    2. If:
      1. Purchasing online, and select roadside Everyday Care option: RSASA25
      2. Purchasing on the phone, and mention to the customer service staff they would like the offer and subject to eligibility
    3. and pay for the Eligible Policy immediately in full or, ;
    4. continue the policy after 30 days of taking out the Eligible Policy.

    Under this Offer, Eligible Customers will receive twelve (12) months Everyday Care roadside assistance membership with NRMA (Membership). The Offer is only available for use with the car insured under the new Eligible Policy. Each Eligible Customer that meets the Offer Requirements will receive a confirmation email from NRMA up to 45 days after having taken out their Eligible Policy, confirming that their Membership is active. The Membership will commence from the date of creation, There is a 48 hour waiting period before you can use roadside assistance. A surcharge applies for immediate service.

  11. If an Eligible Customer who has taken out at Eligible Policy during the Offer Period and otherwise complies with these terms and conditions requires roadside assistance prior to their Membership being created pursuant to this Offer, please contact NRMA on 1300 676 272
  12. Fulfillment of the Offer is subject to the Eligible Customer agreeing to the Membership Terms and Conditions and the NRMA Constitution, available at mynrma.com.au. By opting into the Offer, Eligible Customers agree to becoming a member of the National Roads and Motorists' Association Limited and be bound by its Constitution and Membership Terms and Conditions that are available at mynrma.com.au.
  13. The Offer only applies to the first twelve (12) months of the Membership. After twelve months, the standard cost for a roadside assistance membership with NRMA will apply (and be at the Eligible Customer’s expense, should the Eligible Customer opt to renew this membership).
  14. Should an Eligible Customer choose to cancel the NRMA membership within the first twelve (12) months of the Membership, the Eligible Customer will not be entitled to a refund of the standard cost (or pro-rated cost) of the Membership.
  15. NRMA may, in its discretion, upgrade the Eligible Customer’s roadside assistance membership depending on the type of car the Eligible Customer has insured or the Eligible Customer’s residential address.
  16. Whether NRMA Insurance issues a policy and on what terms is subject to its normal underwriting criteria and practices.
  17. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law), NRMA Insurance (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury, or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity), whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way in connection with this Offer, including but not limited to any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under NRMA Insurance’s control). Nothing in these terms and conditions restricts, excludes, modifies or purports to restrict, exclude or modify any statutory consumer rights under any applicable law, including the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).
  18. NRMA Insurance reserves the right to withdraw or substitute all or part of this Offer with another offer of equal or greater value at NRMA Insurance’s sole discretion. You will not be entitled to any additional compensation in the event that the Offer has been substituted at equal or greater value.
  19. NRMA Insurance reserves the right to disqualify any person that provides false information or who seeks to gain an unfair advantage or to manipulate this Offer.
  20. NRMA Insurance (subject to State and Territory legislation) reserves the right to amend, cancel or suspend this Offer, including in circumstances where an event beyond the control of NRMA Insurance corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Offer.

  22. Privacy

  23. Personal information is being collected by NRMA Insurance for the purpose of conducting and promoting this Offer, and to assist NRMA Insurance to improve its services. By accepting these terms and conditions, you consent to the storage, use and disclosure of your personal information by NRMA Insurance in accordance with its privacy policy (at https://www.nrma.com.au/privacy). If the personal information is not provided, you may not be able to participate in this Offer. NRMA Insurance’s privacy policy contains information about how individuals may access, update or correct their information, how individuals may complain about the treatment of their personal information, and how NRMA Insurance will deal with such a complaint.
  24. By opting into this offer, you agree to NRMA contacting you in accordance with its Privacy Policy, in relation to this Offer and the operation of the NRMA Roadside Assistance product. For details about how NRMA deals with your personal information, please visit www.mynrma.com.au/privacy-policy.
  25. By opting into this Offer, Eligible Customers agree to NRMA Insurance providing their personal information (including name, age, address, email address phone number, car registration number, vehicle details and gender) to NRMA for the purpose of fulfilling the Offer.
