Roadside assistance pricing update
Like many organisations, our operating costs are rising. We understand that many of our members are feeling the pressure of the cost of living, and we’ve worked hard to keep any changes to a minimum.
To continue delivering the trusted roadside assistance and support you rely on, we’ll be updating our prices. We’ve kept increases as small as possible across our packages and add-ons. You’ll see the new pricing reflected in your renewal notice from 17 September 2025. Thank you for your continued support, it means a lot to us.
To help minimise the impact of this update, there won’t be any changes to what’s included in your roadside assistance package or your standalone My NRMA Rewards membership. Members with roadside assistance will continue to enjoy My NRMA Rewards, giving you access to thousands of benefits, designed to ease living costs and add even more value to your membership.

Frequently asked questions
We work hard to keep price changes to a minimum. However, with rising operational costs including fuel, on-road expenses and the cost of running our distribution network, we need to update the prices of our roadside assistance packages and add-ons. This change will help us keep our roadside assistance service sustainable and continue delivering the high standard of help our members expect.
The new price takes effect from 17 September 2025 and will appear on renewals due from 28 October 2025 onwards. If your next renewal is due before this date, your price will stay the same for now. Members will see the updated price on the first renewal received after 17 September 2025 for with a renewal due date from 28 October 2025 onwards. Rest assured this price update does not apply to Free2go or My NRMA Rewards subscriptions.
Prices for Everyday Care, Complete Care, Ultimate Care, Traveller Care and Basic Care will increase by a few dollars each. This update is in line with, or below the consumer price index (CPI) and remains well below the rise in network costs.
This price update applies to subscriptions with both monthly and annual payments. Free2go subscriptions and My NRMA Rewards won’t be affected. You can see the updated roadside assistance pricing online. To check which roadside assistance package you have, take a look at your latest statement or sign in to your online account.
Tow Plus, Windscreen Plus, Key Plus and Pet Plus will increase slightly. See updated pricing for add-on subscriptions.
Yes. The new pricing takes effect from 17 September 2025. However, because monthly payment plans renew every 12 months, your monthly payment won’t change until your next renewal date after 28 October 2025. This means it may be a few months before you see the new pricing reflected in your monthly payments.
No, there’s no price change for My NRMA Rewards and all the great benefits that come with it.
The price increase also applies to Gold and Gold Life members with roadside assistance or add-on subscriptions. As always, Gold and Gold Life members will still receive their special discount, which will be applied to the updated price.
This price update applies only to roadside assistance provided by the NRMA (National Roads and Motorists’ Association). If there are any changes to your NRMA Insurance policy, you’ll always be notified directly by NRMA Insurance.
Yes, the 20% discount still applies for the first year of roadside assistance for additional vehicles added to a membership. However, from 17 September 2025 the discount will be calculated on the updated subscription pricing for Everyday Care, Complete Care and Ultimate Care.
