Update to roadside assistance pricing

With ongoing cost-of-living pressures, we work hard to protect members by keeping prices down. However, we are not exempt from rising operational costs, which is why we unfortunately need to implement a price increase. This update ensures that we can sustain our high-quality roadside assistance service across Australia’s largest network – and keep showing up for our members.

The new price takes effect from 17 September 2026. That means you’ll see the updated pricing on the next renewal notice you receive after this date.

Annual prices for Everyday Care, Complete Care, Ultimate Care, Traveller Care and Basic Care will increase by a few dollars each.

This price update applies to members who pay annually and by the month. There are no changes to pricing for Young Driver Care or My NRMA Rewards. To check which roadside assistance package you have, check your latest statement or sign in to your online account.

Prices for roadside assistance add-ons will increase slightly. These include: Tow Plus, Vehicle Plus, Windscreen Plus, Key Plus and Pet Plus.

Yes. The new pricing takes effect from 17 September 2026. However, because monthly payment plans renew every 12 months, your payment amount won't change until your next monthly payment plan renewal date. This means it may be some months before you see the new pricing reflected in your monthly payments.

No, there’s no price change for members with a My NRMA Rewards subscription without roadside assistance.

Yes, this price increase applies to Gold, Gold Plus and Gold Life members with roadside assistance or add-on subscriptions. These members will continue to receive the same loyalty discount, which will be applied to the updated price.

There are no changes to roadside assistance package inclusions or names. You’ll still be able to access all the inclusions listed under your roadside assistance or add-on subscriptions.

This price update only applies to the roadside assistance provided by the NRMA (National Roads and Motorists’ Association). NRMA Insurance will always notify you directly of changes to any policies that you hold with them.

Yes, the 20% discount still applies for the first year of roadside assistance for any additional vehicles you add to your membership. However, from 17 September 2026 the discount will be calculated on the updated price for Everyday Care, Complete Care and Ultimate Care.
