On 27 January 2016, Rohan Lund was appointed to the role of Group Chief Executive Officer of the National Roads & Motorists' Association (NRMA).
With a strong background in digital technology, strategy and innovation, Rohan brings a wealth of experience delivering transformation, across a range of customer-focused companies.
Most recently the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Foxtel, Australia's largest subscription business, Rohan's previous roles also include COO of Seven West Media, CEO of Yahoo!7 and Strategy Director for SingTel Optus.
An energetic and customer focused leader, Rohan provides strategic and commercial expertise to the NRMA, which is Australia's largest member-owned organisation providing a range of motoring and travel services. Rohan will lead the NRMA on the next stage of its evolution, as it looks to maximise business opportunities in the shared economy and through massive technological change in the mobility sector.

NRMA membership has been in Rohan's family his whole driving life. Married with six children and a Director of UNICEF, he is passionate about family and community issues. He also holds a Master of Laws.
Paul was appointed Executive General Manager, Travel and Touring in April 2016 after holding the position of Acting Executive General Manager, Assistance Services from October 2015. With the acquisition of Australian Tourist Park Management (ATPM) in May 2017, Paul was appointed to the role of CEO of NRMA Holiday Parks and Resorts. Paul is responsible for the strategic, commercial and operational aspects of the Holiday Park business, which has a portfolio of over 40 parks owned or managed across Australia, with 30 parks branded as NRMA Parks and Resorts. Paul is also currently a member of the Tourism Industry Advisory Council of the NSW Business Chamber.
Paul joined the NRMA in December 2014 in the role of General Manager, Customer Product and Loyalty. Before joining the NRMA, Paul held a variety of senior commercial and marketing roles with tourism and travel industry organisations in Australia and internationally. Most recently, Paul was a member of the executive team at Taronga Conservation Society Australia, as General Manager Marketing, Commercial and Fundraising. He was responsible for overseeing the successful marketing of Taronga's zoos in Sydney and Dubbo, delivering high-quality visitor experiences and growing the support of members, donors and corporate partners.
Paul has also been General Manager, Global Consumer Marketing at Tourism Australia and has also worked in various marketing, product and sales roles for Qantas and British Airways in Australia, Africa and the UK.
Paul was born in the UK but with an Australian wife and two children, he now calls Sydney home. He holds a Bachelor of Economics Degree from Cambridge University and a Masters of Business Administration from York University, Toronto.
Michael Gabriel was appointed Group Chief Financial Officer in August 2016. Michael is responsible for ensuring the NRMA reaches its financial and business targets through the Group's business performance, risk, property and tax & treasury functions.
Before joining the NRMA, Michael was General Manager Corporate Finance at Woolworths, where he was responsible for resource and capital prioritisation, group planning and budgeting and managing finance transformation.
Before his time at Woolworths, Michael was the Finance Director of Diageo in Australia and NZ, after working for Diageo in senior finance and supply chain roles across Asia, Europe and the Americas.
Michael is a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA). He holds an MBA from the University of Queensland and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemistry and Physics from the Queensland University of Technology.
Emma Harrington was appointed Chief Customer Officer at the NRMA in November 2017 after holding the position of Executive General Manager Sales and Marketing since August 2016. Emma is responsible for building capability and leading the customer transformation across the Group of NRMA businesses. She also leads the NRMA Membership and subscription businesses and its 2.6 million members. Emma is the Chair of the Data Stewardship Committee that reports to the NRMA Board.
Emma is passionate about people and creating a collaborative, inclusive and customer-led culture. She is recognised for developing and executing customer and commercial growth strategies and leading transformation.
Before joining the NRMA, Emma was the Director of Wholesale and Distribution at Foxtel, Australia’s largest subscription business where she was responsible for growing and retaining customers through Telstra, Optus and other technology partners. She was Group Head of Data & Commercialisation for Seven West Media and Managing Director and Acting CEO for Yahoo7. In her time at Yahoo, Emma held various executive sales, business development, brand and marketing roles in Australia and Canada.
Cormac Hodgkinson was appointed Chief Technology Officer in March 2016 after guiding delivery of the NRMA's Group membership system in 2015.
Cormac is responsible for NRMA's technology infrastructure and architecture, day to day operations and project delivery across all channels including Digital, Data and core platforms. Cormac is also responsible for developing the technology and innovation roadmap to support the NRMA strategy.
Before joining the NRMA, Cormac held key strategic roles at Telecommunications Company 3 in the UK where he was responsible for implementing digital channels for self-care and the delivery of the CRM solution for the organisation. He continued his career at 3 in Australia as General Manager CRM before moving to Vodafone as General Manager Customer Care.
At Vodafone, Cormac was responsible for delivering the sales and service targets across all channels including Digital, Contact centre and Retail comprising over 4000 employees. He has a proven track record in leading teams through change including a companywide Digital transformation initiative, a Contact centre consolidation across continents and a Retail rationalisation programme.
Cormac holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Business Studies from the University of Northumbria.
Nell Payne was appointed Executive General Manager, Motoring in September 2018. She is responsible for the NRMA’s Roadside Delivery, Motoring Operations, Motoring Services, Car Servicing stores, Driver Training and Workplace Health & Safety.
Nell is passionate about safety, engagement and developing her people and has a very collaborative style, focussed on operational excellence, customer experience and customer insights.
Before joining the NRMA, Nell was Group Director Technology and Operations at Foxtel where she was responsible for the operations of the technical facilities supporting Foxtel’s Television Centre, customer systems and the 24x7 Customer Support operations. The national Customer Support operations provided fault call response, repair services and planned work supported by over 1,400 field engineers.
Nell was also the Customer Care Manager for CableData International, later DST International. She was responsible for the support of Customer Systems and Field Services Systems in the Asia Pacific region. Nell also managed the training and operations of the specialist teams as well as the Service Support and Delivery disciplines.
Nell holds a Bachelor’s degree (B Eng) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Coventry University. She has also completed the Australian Graduate School of Management (AGSM) Executive education program and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).
Rachel Wiseman was appointed Chief Investment Officer in November 2016. Prior to that, she was the Executive General Manager of Commercial and Legal for the NRMA. Rachel is responsible for the NRMA Group's commercial interests, including corporate development, investments, group strategy, company secretariat, legal, safety, policy, advocacy and stakeholder relations.
Before joining the NRMA, Rachel held the role of General Manager Corporate Development at Tabcorp Holdings, during which time she was responsible for establishing Tabcorp's UK operations in London. Before this, Rachel held a number of senior roles at Fox Sports including Director Business Affairs and Commercial & Strategy Manager.
Rachel started her career as an accountant with Ernst & Young in New Zealand before moving into corporate law with Phillips Fox. Since moving to Australia, she has held the role of Corporate Counsel with Telstra and General Counsel with Reverse Corp Limited.
Rachel holds a Bachelor of Law and Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Canterbury (New Zealand), and an MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management. She is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
