Set to hit Australian roads in the last quarter of 2024 with a starting price of $53,990 before on-road costs, the 2024 Jeep Avenger marks Jeep's first foray into the local electric vehicle scene.

It’s an unexpectedly affordable price in a segment that’s bursting with new electric SUV options.

Built in Europe on Stellantis’ all-electric e-CMP platform, it sticks to Jeep's core, using 60 per cent Jeep parts and focusses on robust off-road capability, slick design, practicality, and advanced technology.

At just 4.1 metres long, it is shorter than the compact BYD Atto 3 SUV – the 2024 Jeep Avenger is about the same length as a Hyundai i20.

Despite its compact exterior, Jeep says it has a surprisingly spacious and versatile interior, making it a solid pick for both city streets and off-road adventures.

Rugged charm powered by electric efficiency
What makes the 2024 Jeep Avenger stand out is its blend of Jeep's rugged charm with electric efficiency, featuring firsts like front-wheel drive, Selec-Terrain®, and Hill Descent Control as standard.

Though it’s a front-wheel drive vehicle, it exhibits an impressive ground clearance of 200mm, a feature that adds practicality and versatility to its design. Combined, these specs promise to provide unexpected off-road chops for a vehicle of its class.

In terms of weight, this car is reasonably light for an electric vehicle, tipping the scales at 1520kg, which contributes to its overall efficiency and agility on the road.

The car is powered by a 54kWh battery that energizes a robust 115kW drive motor delivering 260Nm torque, resulting in a dynamic and responsive driving experience.

On the road, the Avenger promises a worry-free WLTP range of up to 396 km (based on combined city and highway testing.)

Three variants and plenty of colours

The 2024 Jeep Avenger comes in a variety of colours, with names like Volcano, Granite, Sun, Lake, Snow and Stone, and three trims—Longitude, Limited, and Summit—to suit different tastes and needs.

  • Longitude: Priced from $53,990 before on-road costs, this is your entry point into the Avenger lineup. You'll get the core experience of the Avenger's electric drive, including the standard range of up to 396 km and access to the 100kW fast charging. It's kitted out with the essential tech and safety features, making it a solid choice if you're after the electric Jeep experience without needing all the bells and whistles.
  • Limited: Priced from $57,990 before on-road costs, the Limited adds more comfort and technology features to enhance your drive. Expect upgraded materials inside for a more premium feel, additional tech features for convenience and safety, and more customisation options in terms of interior and exterior styling. The Limited is for those who like their ride with a bit more tech and comfort.
  • Summit: At the top of the range, the $63,990 (before on-roads) Summit variant is all about luxury and full-featured tech. It's packed with the best of what the Avenger has to offer, including advanced driver assistance systems, the highest quality materials, and perhaps even exclusive colour options or styling features. This variant is designed for those who want all the perks and the most refined version of the Jeep electric experience.

Charging the Jeep Avenger using a 7kW AC wall box takes approximately 8 hours, providing a convenient and efficient way to replenish the battery. Alternatively, using a DC charger allows the battery to reach 20-80 per cent in just 24 minutes with a top charge rate of 100kW, making it an ideal option for quick top-ups on the go.
