The accommodation

The park has a range of accommodation, including powered sites, unpowered sites and bungalows accommodating up to 5 people, each with access to amenities blocks, BBQ areas and camp kitchens. For a more luxurious stay, couples and small families can enjoy the Creek Ridge Spa Cabin featuring two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchenette, bathroom with spa/shower and a covered veranda. We also understand your pet pooch is part of the family and a must have to bring on your beachside holiday, which is why four legged friends are welcome on all powered and unpowered sites outside of ‘high’ season dates with a maximum of one small dog per site.

The neighbourhood

Being only a hop, step and jump from the creek, beach or bush, this holiday is a real opportunity to get back to nature. Bushwalkers can head out on the 2km Korogoro Point bush walk, which will take you from the town reserve through coastal rainforest delivering breathtaking views on route. For those looking to really get the bloody pumping, take the 15km walk to Smoky Cape Lighthouse along the beach, or drive (provided you have a beach driving permit).

The Korogoro Creek waterway, with its pristine waters and rich aquatic environment will delight both explorative kayakers and snorkelers hoping to spot a turtle and other marine life. For those who love to fish, head to The Island, Bird Rock or Spinning Ledge to catch tuna, mackerel and more. Hat Head Holiday Park also has a boat ramp and fish cleaning facilities for guests, which means you can enjoy your catch for dinner. Don’t fancy venturing to far from your accommodation? Simply relax and swim in the safety of the serene Hat Head Beach with the kids. The beach is also ideal for beginner surfers and those who want to better their skills.
