Our mobile mechanics are here to provide you with a convenient and cost efficient solution to all your vehicle needs. The team are passionate about helping people and providing exceptional customer experience every time – read a little about them below.
Huss
Huss was born with a spanner in hand. He’s been a mechanic for 11 years and has worked on a range of vehicles, from cars to trucks, putting in lots of time and effort into expanding his knowledge and experience.
And of course, he’s a major car enthusiast and has spent years building his very own car.
Being an NRMA mechanic is more than just a job to Huss. It means he gets to do what he loves with a team that he’s proud to be a part of.
Glenn
Glenn has over 17 years’ auto mechanic experience and 13 of those years have been with the NRMA – he’s even a Gold Member. With his wealth of knowledge, there isn’t a car he can’t fix. As a fan of Japanese cars, his vehicle of choice is an AE86. But he also loves Holden’s first car, ‘made in Australia, for Australia’, the 48-215, known as the FX. Glenn is proud to be an NRMA mobile mechanic because it lets him combine his two passions, vehicle mechanics and interacting with people.
Cameron
You might recognise Cameron from our welcome page, he’s the face of our mobile mechanics. With over 11 years of vehicle mechanic experience, Cameron has a keen eye and ear for diagnosing vehicles. Like the rest of the team, Cameron’s a car enthusiast. His car of choice is one of the fastest production cars ever made, the McLaren F1. Though, with its unique central driver’s seat located in the middle, it doesn’t leave much room for his young family. Cameron’s passionate about helping our Members with all their vehicle needs and building relationships based on trust.
Robin Wang
Robin kicked off his career as a mechanic in Melbourne in 2010. He enjoys the mobile aspect of his job because the flexible work style suits him and he’s able to have interesting conversations with different people throughout the day. If he could have any car, it would be a close call between a Toyota Landcruiser 80 series and a Nissan GT-R R33.
Paul Poulivaati
Paul has been with the NRMA for 5 years, but his mechanical experience extends back to 1998, when he started an apprenticeship at a VW dealership. After staying for 12 years, he headed to the outback, working in Coober Pedy for 3 years as a roadside assistance (RAA) patrol, workshop manager and tow truck driver. He then moved on to iron ore mines as an all-rounder, servicing all types of vehicles and equipment. Paul now loves the mobile mechanic lifestyle as it allows him to bring his extensive mechanical knowledge to the table, and experience new scenery every day.
Anthony Chapple
Anthony has been in the mechanic game for 12 years and counting. He prefers the mobile mechanic lifestyle over working in a shop because it means he can enjoy more fresh air and a new environment each day. His love for cars extends to a passion for motorsport and if he could have any car in his garage it’d be a Lamborghini Gallardo. When he’s not working, you can find Anthony hanging out with his 2 girls, cooking or enjoying the great outdoors.
