Are you a qualified driving instructor or facilitator ready to take your career to the next level? Then you’re in the right place. The Safer Drivers Course Training Program has been designed by TfNSW and is now open for enrolments.What is the Safer Drivers Course Training Program?
The program will be delivered by our NRMA trainers who will guide you through both Module 1 and Module 2 of the Safer Drivers Course. By completing the course, you will have the certifications and skillsets that you need to deliver the program to learner drivers.
You can study Module 1 and 2 separately or complete both.
What requirements do I need?
Module 1 – Facilitator Training Program
- Hold a Certificate lV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110) minimum
- Have a minimum of 12 months experience in facilitation, teaching or training
- Hold a current Working With Children check
Module 2 – Coach Training Program
- Be a qualified and certified driving instructor with at least one year’s experience
- Hold a current Working With Children check

Where does the course take place?
Courses are currently delivered at our NRMA location in Sydney Olympic Park. Please contact the NRMA for regional locations via email: [email protected].
What happens if I need to reschedule the course?
Rescheduling can be done up to 5 days prior to your training date. You can reschedule your courses by signing into your account and navigating to the 'Upcoming bookings' section of your dashboard.
