The park
Set on the breathtaking Capricorn Coast, with white sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters only a short stroll away, Capricorn Yeppoon is the perfect tropical holiday destination. It’s just a 15-minute drive from the town centre of Yeppoon and a 40-minute drive east from
Rockhampton. The area forms part of the Southern Great Barrier Reef with the park positioned only 300m from Mulambin Beach, meaning you won’t have to go far to feel the sand beneath your toes. A stunning destination isn't all Capricorn Yeppoon has to offer, with a great range of in park facilities including children's playgrounds, pool, free wifi, jumping pillow, pedal cart hire, open air theatre, table tennis and pool table, kiosk, barbecue facilities, camp kitchen, games room, laundry and amenities facilities, all available for park guest use.
The accommodation
Whether you’re looking for a touch of luxury or to get back to nature on a caravan or camp site, you will find an accommodation option to suit your needs at Capricorn Yeppoon. Set up your
caravan, motorhome, campervan or tent on your choice of a powered or unpowered site. Or if cabin accommodation is what you’re after, the park has a range of studio cabins suiting two to four guests, larger two and three-bedroom cottages, one and two-bedroom cabins perfect for the family or two-bedroom workers huts. For an upgrade, two-bedroom Deluxe Villas offer a spacious living area, fully equipped kitchen, veranda and private bathroom. Fantastic group accommodation is also available in the Palm Lodge, with three bedrooms, a full kitchen, lounge and dining area and private bathroom, the lodge can sleep up to 24.
The neighbourhood
With 12 pristine beaches dotted along the coastline from Yeppoon to Emu Park, the hardest part of your holiday will be choosing which stretch of sand to spend your day at. The calm waters, warm sands and nearby reef systems off Mulambin Beach offer the perfect playground for watersports, meaning you can cast a line, exploring the underwater wonders by snorkelling, learn to stand up paddle board with the family or simply taking a dip all within meters of your accommodation. The area is great for those wanting to discover their sea legs, jump aboard a luxury catamaran and experience the beauty of Great Keppel Island with Funtastic Cruises or view the abundance of marine wildlife below on a Freedom Fast Cats glass bottom boat tour.
