The neighbourhood
The close proximity of beaches such as Manly, Dee Why, Curl Curl and Freshwater is a major drawcard of the hotel. A short walk or a two minute drive from the hotel is Warringah Mall, a Westfield shopping centre with department stores, supermarkets, boutiques and a Hoyts cinema complex. Brookvale Oval, home of the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles rugby league club, is nearby and the best place to see the team play. The Manly Ferry Terminal is 5km from the hotel by bus – take a scenic ride to the CBD and see the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge. Guests can dine at Manly Leagues Club, located metres away from the hotel (charge back is available) and there are dozens of great eateries at Manly. Take a long walk after dinner along the promenade to work off some of those calories. Closer still are the excellent sourdough bread, cakes and gelato of Mrs Jones the Baker in the Mall.
